Daniel Wildermuth is the founder and CEO of multiple financial services firms including Wildermuth Advisory, LLC, an institutional fund advisor; and Asteria Wealth, a money management firm administering over 20 equity, fixed income and alternative portfolio strategies and investment solutions for retail and institutional investors. Mr. Wildermuth serves as Chief Investment Officer for Wildermuth Advisory and Asteria Wealth and has over 25 years of experience managing multiple domestic and international equity and fixed income investment portfolios and almost five years of experience in managing a publicly registered, closed-end fund.
Over the past 25 years, Mr. Wildermuth has been a pioneer in the adaption of the Endowment Investment approach to the needs of individual investors. Daniel’s success and unique approach has garnered media coverage from Barron’s, Investment News, Forbes Magazine, Family Office Magazine, CNBC, Bravo TV, Dow Jones Newswire, and other financial market news outlets. McGraw-Hill has published his two books outlining the approach (Wise Money: Minimizing Your Risk and Increasing Your Control & How to Keep and Grow Your Retirement Assets) that more fully explains applying the strategy to individual accounts. Daniel comments on markets and potential future directions in his monthly newsletter, which is syndicated nationally by news services and advisors. He speaks frequently at industry conferences and events and is often quoted as an expert in the fields of alternative investments, the stock market, and the general economy.
Mr. Wildermuth earned an MBA in Finance from Anderson School at UCLA and an undergraduate degree in engineering from Stanford University. He graduated in the top 2 percent and 15 percent of classes, respectively.

Carol Wildermuth is a co-founder and partner of Wildermuth Advisory. With over 30 years of experience in financial services and founding multiple financial firms, she currently serves as a board member on the Wildermuth Fund. Prior to founding the companies, she supervised the Private Client Division of Lehman Brother’s Southeast Asia branch, with offices in Hong Kong and Singapore. Ms. Wildermuth graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with a B.A. in Economics.

Amanda Coetzee serves as the Chief Compliance Officer of Wildermuth Advisory and has spent approximately 30 years in banking and finance in South Africa and the U.S. She has previously overseen various operations of RIAs firms including account implementation, trading, billing, performance composites and regulatory oversight. In addition, she has overseen the development and implementation of multiple different software programs including proposal systems, endowment model portfolio programs, and payment systems as well as the integration of various industry standard software systems into a national firm’s daily operations. She currently holds her FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations.

Candice Lightfoot serves as Chief Operating Officer of Wildermuth Advisory. As COO, Ms. Lightfoot oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm and ensures that the organization, including its investment, client, risk and technology functions, have the necessary connectivity, coordination, and operating processes. She brings nearly 15 years’ experience in working across a broad range of financial disciplines including various types of asset classes and portfolio structures. Prior to joining the Wildermuth companies, Ms. Lightfoot worked as a Project Manager for a broker-dealer where she led a variety of firm-wide, interdepartmental and cross-functional projects. She studied Accounting and Business Management at Damelin, formerly known as the Southern African Financial Institute in South Africa. She is a member of the Wildermuth Advisory Investment Committee and secretary of The Wildermuth Fund. She also serves as a board member of a private company, Clear Guide Medical, Inc. She currently holds her and FINRA Series 7 and 63 securities registrations.

Ryan Cummins is a Portfolio Analyst for Wildermuth Advisory focused on research and due diligence of alternative investments. He is a member of the Wildermuth Advisory Investment Committee. Mr. Cummins brings over a decade of experience in investment management. Throughout his career, he has held various institutional investment and finance positions at Cliffwater (a specialist consultant in alternative investments), Cantor Fitzgerald, Blackstone and hedge fund firms in New York City. Mr. Cummins has earned the right to the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA society of Jacksonville.

Shane Zona is a Valuation Analyst for Wildermuth Advisory focused on the valuation and monitoring of current portfolio investments. Shane specializes in financial statement analysis, industry research and valuing businesses and complex assets. Prior to joining Wildermuth Advisory, Shane worked in the Forensic, Valuation and Litigation Support group of a large public accounting firm where he focused on valuations of businesses and complex assets and liabilities for a wide variety of engagements. He received his Bachelors in Economics from Florida State University and Masters of Business Administration from the University of North Florida.

Beth Holbrook is the Director – Client Services & Operations for Wildermuth Advisory. Beth assists with daily operations including compliance and communications responsibilities and supports the company’s strategic initiatives. Prior to joining Asteria Wealth and its affiliate, Wildermuth Advisory, Beth spent 13 years in various roles with an investment advisor, the last three as its Chief Compliance Officer. Beth has earned the right to the Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional (IACCP®) designation.

In 1999, Steven began his career as a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley in 1999, followed by various other financial advisor firms. Steven also has vast experience as an internal, external, and hybrid wholesaler in the public and private alternative investments space.
